The Skin I Was In is a series of black & white polaroids designed to tell a story of acceptance.  This series pays tribute to a layer of myself that is hard to recognize.  Each piece is an honest reminder of a negative fragment of my life and also celebrates the positivity that comes from learning how to surrender.
